This image inspired a lot of creativity! We saved it until now because International Print Competition (IPC) judging will be starting here in the next week or so. To honor this nail-biting event we would like to share with you the amazing process that brought us to this point. As soon as the image was taken, we knew it was something special.

It was around this time that Julia discovered the wonderful world of Corel Painter and decided to use this image to practice her newly acquired skills. The inspiration flowed as she began to take strokes across her digital canvas. She entered an early stage of the “painted” image in a print competition in Washington State and the feedback was remarkable. Further inspiration and painting led to this final image that was entered into IPC.
