We are still getting back into the daily grind from being away. We were in Las Vegas for WPPI and then in Portland, OR for PPO and they were huge successes! We came away with personal to-do lists and tons of ideas for the business. Talk about sources of information and muses! It is our goal here in Bend, OR to implement the things we learned to make the studio an equal source of knowledge and inspiration.

More than just classes and networking, there’s competition! Amazing talent at WPPI, although Jewel Images did not enter there this year. PPO’s judging was a great success for us though! With 6 prints entered, 5 earned merits! One print reached the top level score range! So proud! Julia did such an amazing job. Instead of listing all the things she won, I’ll post a picture to give you an idea of how great her images did. Unfortunately, we can’t post any of the images yet because there is still regional and national judging to be done but we’ll post them at the end of the year, as soon as we can.
